For over 40 years now, Mark Preston has been entertaining audiences around the world.  From the
showrooms of Las Vegas, to theaters on some of the largest Cruise ships at sea, Mark continues to
receive rave reviews and standing ovations for his performances.

As Country Music Hall of Fame member, Tennessee Ernie Ford, so aptly put it:  "Cock your
pistols, there'll be no stopping this young man."  Mr. Ford was right.

Mark's talent earned him accolades early in his career.  While in the military, he competed in the Air Force Worldwide Talent competition. After competing against 55 other singers, Mark was selected
as the Air Force's finest male vocalist of 1975. As a result of his first place finish, he was selected to, and toured with Tops In Blue.  This elite group is made up of the Air Force's top 20, most versatile entertainers. Because of his work with Tops In Blue, Mark was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal. After the tour, Mark was transferred from his job as a Russian Linguist, to the 702nd Air Force Band. He toured with the band for the next two years, performing all over the world as "The Voice Of The Air Force", a title given him by 4 Star General Russell Dougherty, Commander In Chief of the Strategic Air Command.

Receiving an honorable discharge from the Air Force,  Mark made the move to the west coast.  After a string of
impressive performances at one of L.A.'s oldest clubs 'The Horn,' as well as an appearance on
"The Dinah Shore Show,"  Mark was called to Las Vegas.
As a featured performer at such hotels as The Silverbird, The Dunes,
The Marina, The Sahara, as well as Harrah's in Reno and Lake Tahoe, Mark continued to
receive reviews that described him as an "extraordinary singer, able to belt a number,
filling you with eye watering emotion."Variety Magazine  called him "one of the
finest entertainers in show business."

Las Vegas also presented Preston with the opportunity to expand his career into a
new dimension; television.  With several appearances on the hit series Vega$ as
well as being the photo double and stand-in for the show's star Robert Urich, Mark
went on to do guest appearances on several network specials.  As a result, the Indiana
native was asked to co-host "Braun & Company," a syndicated variety show originating
from Cincinnati, Ohio.

It was in Cincinnati that Mark teamed up with the "First Lady of Comedy," Phyllis Diller.
"I love to refer to Mark Preston as 'my protégé," said Miss Diller. "He has one of the
strongest, most beautiful voices I have ever heard...He really gets to an audience.  He
acts, emotes, is handsome...everything."

Marks unique talent preceded him again, and he was invited to join the
internationally famous recording group, "The Lettermen."
Mark accepted, and over the years, has helped the trio maintain the level of success it enjoys today.  Preston is extremely proud to be a part of The Lettermen. Recently, The Lettermen were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall Of Fame, an honor Mark shared with the other members of the famous trio.

Every year, Mark performs in a wide ranging variety of venues. His career takes him around the
globe with the Cruise industry, to the world of corporate events across the country, and to the
entertainment cities of Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Reno, and Lake Tahoe.  When not performing, Mark's schedule
includes many celebrity golf events.  He has appeared at such ones as:  The Phoenix Open,
The Memorial Golf Tournament, The Chad Everett Tennis and Golf Classic, The Foster Brooks
Pro/Celebrity Golf Tournament, and The Woody Hayes Memorial.  Besides golf, Mark
also enjoys a cold beer, Notre Dame football, and relaxing at home in Pennsylvania.
